Because they live in the deepest commune in Daklak Province, the children are deprived of everything, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival. They cannot wear new clothes to go to the Mid-Autumn Festival parties like many other children. But they still have to follow their parents to the fields and work. Children who are too young sit under a tree and wait for their parents to finish their work.

Because of the complicated pandemic, we couldn’t gather the children to give gifts. So we rode motorbikes to the children’s houses to bring the gifts right on their doorstep. The children were very happy and politely greeted us when they received the Mid-Autumn Festival gifts. Seeing the children happy makes us feel very happy as well.
