Recalling the image of innocent children, CEO Tony, holding a bag of candy, felt the sadness evident everywhere as he heard one child shyly asked for a bag of treat, he was holding. We can only shed tears when we found out that the children do not even have household registration nor birth certificates.

The mission was to visit and give gifts to children of families living in makeshift huts around Dau Tieng Lake. Their main source of living is by fishing. It was unfortunate to see how they strive to survive the life below the margin. However, as we gave out clothes, kites and candies especially to the children, the realization of simple happiness was real. We could only hope for the best as we continue to extend help among these families.

Toxic waste that polluted more than 200 km (125 miles) of coastline, devastating sea life and local economies dependent on fishing and tourism. The disaster disrupted the livelihood of fishermen in four provinces on the central coast of Vietnam. Many people are jobless because of fish poisoning.

The total fundraising in the 2 weeks reached over $20,000. Can’t believe that we have reached our goal of being able to feed over 1000 families affected by the poisoned waters in Central Vietnam with such short notice!

We are grateful for everyone’s love, support, donation & words of encouragement for a cause that is so dear to our hearts. Thank you so much for trusting us & giving us the opportunity to give back on your behalf.

2. Au Duong Lan Street, District 8, HCMC, July 13, 2016

A rather small and cramped house located deep in a small alley on Au Duong Lan Street, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam, there situates a collective house of lottery ticket sellers living together. We couldn’t believe our eyes seeing how difficult their situation is.

Determined to bring happiness for the day, we had to carry each gift into the alley because it was quite small and could not be transported by truck. It was worth the efforts and surely a reason to celebrate! Everyone was happy. They say selling lottery tickets is great! It’s so fun and emotional to be given the chance to experience like this!
